Describe Your Work Zone

Include the road name, closure type (right lane, left lane, shoulder, flagging), and the cross streets that bound the work zone.

Road Information

Total lanes on the road (1–8).

Posted Speed Limit

Enter the permanent posted speed limit — the number on the speed limit sign, not a reduced work zone speed. VWAPM calculations depend on this value.

TTC Template

Choose the TTC layout that matches your work zone. Templates are automatically filtered when you select a closure type above.

Quick Guide

  1. Place pins on the map above to mark the start and end of your work zone
  2. Click Get Route — the road name, cross streets, speed limit, and description auto-fill
  3. Review and adjust the auto-filled fields if needed
  4. Select a closure type and TTC template
  5. Confirm the speed limit (permanent posted, not reduced)
  6. Click Generate Plan
